Mandela Partners manages numerous ongoing projects: Mandela Produce Distribution is a community-based food hub located in West Oakland that increases access to local, sustainably-grown fresh produce, while supporting the economic success of small-scale BIPOC farmers by providing high quality, equitably-sourced produce to East Bay residents, community-based organizations, local food businesses, and other institutions through weekly CSA boxes, produce stands, wholesale and partnerships. The Culinary Employment Pathways program provides technical and professional skills needed for employment in the East Bay restaurant industry to community members who are facing any barriers to employment with an emphasis on people returning home from incarceration. E14th Eatery and Kitchen is a food business incubator and community kitchen in unincorporated Alameda supporting local food entrepreneurs.
