Leadership and Outreach The Partnership is a nonprofit membership organization comprised of a select group of approximately two hundred fifty CEOs Partners from New York Citys top corporate, professional services and investment firms and representatives of the entrepreneurial and small business sector Associate Partners. Members work closely with government, labor and the nonprofit sector to enhance the economy, improve public education, and upgrade the infrastructure of New York. Research and Policy The Partnership conducts research, surveys and analysis of issues and projects that will have an impact on the local and state economy. In 2020, the Partnership assisted the New York City Department of Education on Career and Technical Education initiatives by increasing industry engagement. Career Discovery Week launched in 2020 as a joint initiative of the Partnership and the New York City Department of Education. The program targeted high school sophomores, giving them a glimpse into the world of business through a full-day of interactive workplace experiences and in-school programming led by corporate volunteers. Employers engaged students through career panels, workplace tours, workplace challenges, technology demonstrations, resume building workshops, interview workshops, speed networking and more.
