    Development School for Youth and Development Coaching: Development School for Youth, one of our leading programs, gave young people aged 16 to 21, opportunities to learn to perform as professionals as they partnered with business leaders in virtual and in-person workshops and internships; Development Coaching, a new virtual program, gave young people aged 16 to 21 an opportunity to work with industry leaders who helped guide and enhance their personal and professional development.

  • Performing Arts Engagement Programs

    Performance Based Programs: All Stars Talent Show Network involved youth ages 5 to 25 in performance and improvisation workshops to help young people create new performances with people they don't know, and to build community; Youth Onstage! introduced young people, ages 14 to 21, to the world of theatre, offering free training in the performing arts; Castillo Theatre opened up the world of cutting-edge theatre for a diverse audience of all ages; and the Performance Lab partnered with theater artists and organizations to produce cultural and bridge-building activities.

  • Afterschool Development Initiatives

    AFTERSCHOOL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES: Through innovative collaborations and strategic partnerships, ASP worked with nonprofit, community college, and corporate partners to incorporate our performance approach in the design and implementation of training solutions and new afterschool programming as well as in the creation of workforce development and diversity and inclusion initiatives. We partnered with the Newark Police Department, Dallas College, ICA Cristo Rey and Paramount Global on advancing youth development outcomes. We also invested in thought leadership, writing and research to advance the field of afterschool development.
