The Transit Innovation Partnership the TIP is a public-private initiative between the Metropolitan Transportation Authority the MTA and New York City Partnership Foundation, Inc. the Partnership with the mission to modernize and improve the operations of the MTA, including the New York City transit system. An advisory board of leaders from academia, business, civic organizations and government guides the TIP, which brings together diverse stakeholders to realize public-private projects that improve transit performance and customer service.
