Greater Canandaigua Civic Center provides a safe facility for youth and adults to learn the fundamentals of ice skating, hockey, and other activities. The Organization also provides education to instructors and coaches. 9 open skate sessions were held per week during the season (through Mid-March). Figure skating instruction classes were held multiple times a week during the season. Over 200 people attended the youth hockey program, approximately 50 attended learn to skate programs, and about 100 attended adult hockey weekly during the season. The facility is available for rental in the non-skating season for events such as sports practices, book fairs, sales, etc.
