Program 1 [2020]
OREGON IDA INITIATIVEOur IDA Program enables community members to save money in a bank and have that money matched with dollars from the state. With the money community members save and the matching dollars (5:1 match rate), they must purchase an asset. Qualifying assets include home purchase and renovation, business startup or expansion, education (college or vocational), assistive technology (for people with disabilities), or motor vehicles. All participating clients must complete financial empowerment training and asset-specific education to help them make the most of their savings. In 2020, 39 community members completed savings and training, and utilized program assets to purchase 1 home, renovate 8 homes, and start or expand 5 businesses. 5 clients used the funds to pay for school, and 21 purchased motor vehicles. We enrolled 47 new clients in 2020, and are currently serving 134 clients with open accounts.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2020Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$473.7KProgram 2 [2020]
