Community Outreach Program - Prepared and hosted free educational lectures, webinars, classes and Q&A sessions with various clinicians and professionals directed toward caregivers, families and professionals to offer information, support and raise awareness of needs, research, treatments, support and resources of those within the developmental disorder community, and to promote childrens health. Continue to build and host free resource library for community education that is made up of free resource materials, research articles, books, magazines, therapy aides and materials - all focused on developmental disorders and childrens health. Offered significant support and resources for families unable to afford appropriate, prescribed care, including maintaining up-to-date referral lists from programs all over the country, as well as support and guidance on numerous grant and scholarship opportunities, insurance program support, and more. Hosted awareness and inclusion events throughout the year to provide opportunities for support and socialization for people with developmental disorders and their families. Coordinated and staffed sibling support groups and social skills classes. Offered training for foster care parents and foster care professionals to address developmental, behavioral, and health care needs of children in foster care.
