WE MAINTAIN A REPOSITORY OF REAGENTS INCLUDING MONOCLONAL ANTIBODIES,COSMIDS, HYBRIDOMAS, CELL LINES AND VIRAL LYSATES THAT ARE DONATED BY INVESTIGATORS AROUND THE WORLD, AND WE MAKE THESE VALUABLE RESEARCH MATERIALS AVAILABLE TO RESEARCHERS FREE OF CHARGE. WE ARRANGECOLLABORATIONS BETWEEN INVESTIGATORS, HOST CONFERENCES AND COORDINATE INITIATIVES AMONG INVESTIGATORS TO DEVELOP CONSENSUS ON ISSUES RELATING TO HHV-6. WE ATTEND CONFERENCES IN THE FIELD OF NEUROLOGY AND STEM CELL TRANSPLANTS TO PROVIDE INVESTIGATORS WITH INFORMATION ABOUT HHV-6, AND TO ENCOURAGE CLINICAL RESEARCH.ANOTHER IMPORTANT PRIORITY FOR THE FOUNDATION IS TO ENCOURAGE EFFORTS TO FIND ANTIVIRAL COMPOUNDS THAT ARE
