Maliheh Free Clinic provides free, quality medical care to uninsured and low-income individuals and families in the greater Salt Lake City area. Patients are all living below 250% of the federal poverty guidelines and are not eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and other programs. In 2022, the clinic had 15,327 appointments with 5,122 individuals in need of medical care in our community. This was accomplished with a small core paid staff and the services of 910 active volunteers who provided over 28,219 volunteer hours of service.
