VHC Health Foundation Support Programs
The VHC Health Foundation is the fundraising arm of VHC Health, and inspires charitable giving to support the tax-exempt purpose of VHC Health. Funds raised by the Foundation have supported various VHC Health entities that serve underserved communities. The Foundation has been instrumental in supporting the VHC Health Clinics for Adults, Youth and Children, which are a crucial resource for uninsured and under-insured patients. Funds raised to support the VHC Health Clinics provided support for prescription assistance, nutritional insecurity, transportation, and case management. Additionally, funds were allocated to health access and equity, with over $319,000 being dedicated to the Health Equity Fund. Additionally, the initiative supports Senior Health and Aging which includes the Lifeline Assistance Fund, which will provide 64 individuals with access to emergency response services. The Foundation has continuously supported a transformation of care at VHC Health. In 2023, an integrated Women's Health Center came to fruition - a forward thinking initiative designed to provide a seamless delivery of care specifically to the needs of women over the course of their lifetime. Additionally, an impactful $3 million gift will aid in the development of a world class Stimulation Center. These funds will contribute to enhancing the quality of care through the continued development of our clinical care teams. The Foundation also supports the professional development of clinical staff through the Friends of Nursing program, which has played a vital role in achieving the Magnet-recognized status. In 2023, this support allowed VHC to distribute $222,615 for nursing awards, scholarships and training, benefiting 32 nurses. Similarly, through the Friends of Healthcare program, VHC distributed over $171,257 in scholarships, awards, and training, benefiting 12 clinical healthcare professionals.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2023 – Dec 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$1.9M
