Program 1 [2020]
In 2020, Phoenix Multisport, Inc. (dba "The Phoenix") continued expanding our capacity, through additions in technology and staff, to increase our ability to serve one million people with free recovery support in the next five years. During 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Phoenix shifted to virtually deliver our programming. During the last 9 months of 2020, a high percentage of our programming was delivered virtually, and at the end of 2020 the Phoenix was delivering 60 classes a week via online streaming platforms. Additionally, we continued to grow programs and attendance in our brick-and-mortar locations in California, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Billings, MT. We also expanded operations into major metropolitan areas such as Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Las Vegas, NV; and New York City, NY. In August of 2020, The Phoenix launched a partnership with Edovo which is bringing our programming into jails and prisons on tablets, helping us reach a population that we had not yet been able to serve. The Phoenix's sober active community reached 14,353 new individuals in 2020 and has served 50,358 people since its inception. In 2023, The Phoenix achieved unprecedented growth, welcoming over 165,000 new members. This surge, driven by strategic investments in technology, outreach, and volunteer engagement, brought our total membership to over 350,000. Our mobile app has made it easier than ever for members to access community and virtual programming to support them on their journeys of transformation. Our robust volunteer network led over 25,000 sober Phoenix events nationwide in 2023, ensuring widespread access to life-changing programs and providing members with opportunities for meaningful connection.
