Several new businesses opened, including new restaurants, retail and destination businesses. New residential developments continued under construction, including for sale residential. We consistently promoted Downtown Arlington and positively affected the overall perceptions about the downtown area, serving the economic interests of the city and its citizens. We expanded our social media presence, leveraged the use of our updated website with more businesses, and built strong support and branding for a new music festival. We also expanded our beautification efforts with increased litter patrol, and continued providing storefront grants to property owners.
