With a mission of ensuring that our community has access to parks that meet their needs and expectations, the Friends of Hamilton County Parks made significant accomplishments in 2022. FHCP funded enhancements to the children's garden at the Coxhall property, along with its affiliate The Coxhall Guild, including the commissioning of a local artist to paint the Whisper Walls with an educational depiction of a pollinator field to encourage an appreciation for and planting of native pollinator plants/gardens. Through FHCPI's Coxhall Guild's efforts additional landscaping was done throughout the Coxhall property. FHCPI also granted funds to the Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Dept. to begin the restoration of the historical Williams House on the Coxhall property and support concerts at Cool Creek Park. FHCP's donor support continues to grow. The annual golf outing serves as a unique fundraiser for the organization and attracts new corporations, sponsors, and donors. The FHCPI Board continues to grow. FHCP continues their strategic planning process to outline growth and expansion of the impact of the organization on Parks throughout the county.
