Emergency Food Program
CFA’s emergency food services program serves as a safety net for residents in Bergen County, NJ who are experiencing food insecurity. Center for Food Action operates six food pantries in Englewood, Hackensack, Saddle Brook, Mahwah, Ringwood and on the campus of Bergen Community College. We also deliver food to seniors and homebound individuals. CFA’s Homelessness Prevention is designed to help at-risk families facing eviction or those needing to relocate due to financial hardship in Bergen and Passaic Counties. CFA's Weekend Snack Pack Program is distributed year-round, as part of school meals programs and delivered to community partner organizations. The Weekend Snack Pack Program (WSSP) fills the gap by providing healthy, kid-friendly, and easy to prepare foods to children at risk of weekend hunger.
