Emergency Food Dsitribution

Mobile Pantries distribute food in locations where people do not have access to a “brick and mortar” food pantry. The Mobile Pantry has a regular monthly schedule of 24 sites, including low-income housing complexes for seniors and families, trailer parks that are far from pantries, veterans’ programs, health clinics, and colleges. Our neighbors in need of food can go to these sites to receive non-perishable food as well as fresh produce and baked goods.GeographiesMonmouth County, NJ, USA;Ocean County, NJ, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedFood security,Food aid,Free goods distributionAge groups,Social and economic status––Children's Feeding Programs
Our children’s feeding programs include the Backpack Program, which provides nutritious, easy-to-prepare foods for children on weekends and holidays when they don’t have access to school breakfast and lunch meals. Our two production kitchens prepare hot meals and snacks for children at after-school programs, as well as breakfasts and lunches for low-income children attending summer recreational programs.GeographiesMonmouth County, NJ, USA;Ocean County, NJ, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedFood security,Food aid,Free goods distributionChildren and youth––
