Next Step Workforce Development Program
In 2021, the next step workforce development program served 24 WIOA & Breaking the Cycle Re-Entry)clients. In 2021, the Emergency Men's Shelter served 68 homeless men, providing 8,810 shelter bed nights and 21,000+ meals. There are currently 30 volunteer groups representing houses of worship and civic organizations that prepare and deliver in-kind meals througout the year. In 2021, the spcdc americorps program and its members built capacity for future growth and served day to day to accomplish the objectives of the agency. the program hired and placed 18 members who provided 10,275 hours of community service time with spcdc and our non-profit partner agencies.
