Programs include providing counseling, social work, employer assistance programs and children in the middle programs that are accessible throughout Berks County. The counseling program provided 22,086.50 hours of service to 2,458 unduplicated clients. The children in the middle program served 641 families. 61 of mental health clients serviced were at or below poverty level. A sliding scale fee is provided for those who lack funding resources. Over 80 of persons surveyed reported improved functioning.
