JUBILEE MINISTRIES

Programs
Program 1 [2020]
JUBILEE STORES -Jubilees thrift store operation exists for the same purpose as our ministry programs to serve those affected by incarceration. The stores provide low-cost merchandise for sale to persons in the city and surrounding areas. Our stores provide financial resources that empower life change for those in prisons and in our Aftercare Program. They are a place for the community to participate in this ministry, by donating material items and shopping. Behind the scenes, in processing material donations and in the pickup and delivery of store items, our Aftercare students are employed and gain valuable on-the-job skills. Our stores are located in Annville, Lebanon, Manheim, Myerstown, Palmyra, Wernersville, and Online.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2020Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$3.7MProgram 2 [2020]
JUBILEES PRISON MINISTRY- Did you know that the Church is thriving behind bars? There are followers of Christ, worshiping in prisons, together as the body of believers. Like any church, those in prison receive the Word, and are challenged to walk it out in their life. Our chaplains lead worship services, teach Bible studies, provide individual counseling, oversee pre-release classes, teach discipleship classes, visit cell blocks, and minister to prison staff. Jubilee provides full-time and part-time chaplain staff in state and county prisons throughout PA. Our chaplains serve in Lebanon County, Luzerne County, Northumberland County, Schuylkill County, and Snyder County; and in the State Correctional Institutions at Camp Hill, Frackville, and Mahanoy.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2020Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$412.2KProgram 3 [2020]
JUBILEE AFTERCARE PROGRAM - offers a structured environment that provides opportunities for men to have their hearts and lives transformed through a relationship with Jesus Christ. With Christ at the center, we seek to address the deep needs of those caught in cycles of addiction and incarceration. This is a phased-based program; completion is not determined by the amount of time spent in the program, but rather the successful progression through each phase. Each phase consists of specific goals and responsibilities that target growth in relationships, life skills, career opportunities, recovery from addiction, and most importantly, faith. Students participate in Bible studies, counseling sessions, step programs, and life skills training. Students receive on-the-job training at our Jubilee thrift store for a minimum of 500 hours before pursuing employment in the local community. The highest occupancy in 2020 was 20 students.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2020Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$323.4K
