The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival is the official Shakespeare festival of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, dedicated to enriching, engaging, entertaining, and inspiring audiences through professional theatrical productions of classic, contemporary, and Shakespearean works, along with educational engagement and mentorship programs. Since its inception in 1992, PSF has entertained over 1,116,885 patrons, operating with a budget of $2.6 million and generating total revenue of $2.9 million in the 2025 filing year. The organization receives significant support from notable funders such as Fidelity Investments Charitable Gift Fund, Donor Advised Charitable Giving Inc, and National Philanthropic Trust, among others, and does not rely on any single funder for more than 50% of its revenue.
