Mission Statement
Char-Em United Way serves as a catalyst to develop new strategies and services to meet currently unmet needs, primarily in the areas of education, income stability, and community health. Char-Em United Way also provides financial and other support to effective health and human service programs which meet identified community needs, serves as the local administer for the Federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program, coordinates volunteers for community organizations, provides prescription discount cards, and advocates for area citizens.
