Economic Independence Services
Accounting Aid Society touches over 22,000 lives annually, with an economic impact of $33.7 million on low and middle-income households. More than 250 volunteers donate over 9,300 hours to helping our clients build a foundation for economic independence. These dollars are diverted directly back to southeast Michigan communities, often paying for basic needs such as food, utilities, transportation, and rent. The Accounting Aid Academy guides micro-entrepreneurs in historically underserved neighborhoods to achieve sustainability and growth in their financial operations.
