  • Wildlife Rehabilitation and Release Program

    Wildlife: The clinic treated 177 native birds and 57 mammals. 52% of those animals treated were released back to the wild. These included three orphaned Douglas Squirrels rescued from a wildfire in Oregon, an orphaned Eaglet, several owls and raptors, a Mallard Duckling and many more.

  • Feral Cat Trap/Neuter/Return Program

    Cats: Seven volunteers conducted a trap/neuter/return program for feral and colony cats in the Columbia Gorge area. Animals treated include: 480 cats and kittens taken to low cost clinics for spay, neuter and vaccines. Many were returned to their caregivers. 114 cats and kittens were fostered by volunteers and placed in forever homes. 25 cats were placed with thoughtful caregivers in need of barn cats.

  • Wildlife Education Presentations

    Education: Two volunteers gave ten educational presentations featuring trained unreleasable owls. Approximately 800 adults and children attended these events. Topics included natural histories of raptors, challenges facing native wildlife, and information regarding veterinary care of wild animals.
