Wildlife Rehabilitation and Release Program
Wildlife: The clinic treated 177 native birds and 57 mammals. 52% of those animals treated were released back to the wild. Cats: Seven volunteers conducted a trap/neuter/return program for feral and colony cats in the Columbia Gorge area. Animals treated include: 480 cats and kittens taken to low cost clinics for spay, neuter and vaccines. Education: Two volunteers gave ten educational presentations featuring trained unreleasable owls. Approximately 800 adults and children attended these events.
