    In 2020, AfterImage finished production and released Athlete A, a documentary about the USA Gymnastics sexual assault scandal. It was released in June 2020 around the globe on Netflix. We continued work on Lead Me Home about the homelessness crisis, and began research for a new feature documentary called How Did Climate Change?. Additionally, we were the fiscal sponsor for Land of Gold, a film following the creation of a new opera about California gold rush history by filmmaker Jon Else.

  • Climate Change Documentary Projects

    In 2023, AfterImage continued production on Power & Light and post production on The White House Effect, two climate change feature documentaries. We began work on a new film for PBS about the Deaf actress Marlee Matlin. We also signed on to fiscally sponsor three new documentaries for independent filmmakers.
