THE ORGANIZATION SUCESSFULLY OPERATED FOUR SCHOOLS, ESCUELITA NAZARETH, CENTRO ESCOLAR SANTA CLARA, INSTITUTO BILINGUE SANTA CLARA, AND THE CARDINAL RODRIGUEZ INSTITUTE IN THE COUNTRY OF HONDURAS.ESCUELITA NAZARETH CONTINUED TO OPERATE AS THE ONLY SCHOOL FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN IN THE STATE OF OLANCHO, HONDURAS AND EDUCATED 92 STUDENTS WITH VARYING DISABILITIES INCLUDING DOWNS SYNDROME, CEREBRAL PALSY, AUTISM, VISUALLY IMPAIRED AND HEARING IMPAIRMENTS. IN ADDITION, THE ESCUELITA NAZARETH OFFERED VOCATIONAL TRAINING FOR STUDENTS TO PREPARE THEM TO BECOME PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. CENTRO ESCOLAR SANTA CLARA AND INSTITUTO BILINGUE SANTA CLARA HAVE EMERGED AS LEADING CATHOLIC, BILINGUAL ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOLS IN THE STATE OF OLANCHO, HONDURAS. THE SCHOOLS OFFERED STATE OF THE ART FACILIITES, LOW STUDENT/TEACHER RATIOS AND A FOCUS ON EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION FOR 590 STUDENTS, AS A RESULT OF A COLLABORATION BETWEEN ITS HIGH QUALITY HONDURAN STAFF AND NORTH AMERICAN VOLUNTEERS. The organization provided funding to support the successful operation of four schools: Nazareth School, Cardenal Rodriguez Middle and High School, Santa Clara Bilingual Elementary School, and Santa Clara Bilingual Middle and High School in the country of Honduras.Nazareth School continues to operate as the only school to provide education and vocational training for children and youth with disabilities and special needs in the state of Olancho, Honduras.
