At the Menachem Education Foundation, it is our vision that all students in a Chabad school worldwide thrive to their full potential and graduate from a Chabad school with the tools needed to live their life as a Chassid in the present world. Our mission is to be the best champions of our students by working with our schools, with a uncompromising focus on student success. In our quest to champion the students in Chabad schools, MEF is at the forefront of building systems and infrastructure to reach every child in the classroom, developing high-quality skill-based curricula that inspire children's learning, training teachers, and providing leadership development programs to build a new generation of Chabad school leaders. In 10 year of our Teacher Training program, trained and certified 163 teachers teaching in over 50 cities around the world. In addition, 7,500 students benefited from standards-based learning by using the Zekelman Standards forJewish Studies, 3,500 students participated in customized online assessment of the Zekelman learning standards for Bible studies, and 650 educators gained access to resources that support successful standard implementation atwww.ZekelmanStandards.org. 400 educators took part in our fourth annual Chabad Chinuch Convention in July of 2019, and 52 school leaders took part in leadership training programs in that same year. **Menachem Education Foundation - Vision, Mission, and 5783- 2023 Accomplishments** At the Menachem Education Foundation (MEF), we envision a world where every student in Chabad schools thrives to their fullest potential, graduating with the values and skills needed to live as a Chassid in today?s world. Our mission is to champion student success by working directly with schools, focusing uncompromisingly on enhancing student outcomes. MEF leads the development of systems and infrastructure that reach every child in the classroom, providing high-quality curricula, comprehensive teacher training, and robust support for school leaders. **5783- 2023 Accomplishments Overview** **Training and Recruitment:** - *Kadima L?Chinuch* Teacher Certification Program: Certified 20 new *mechanchim* in Spring-Summer 5783-2023, equipping educators with critical teaching skills and methodologies. - *Back to School Teacher Training Crash Course*: Trained 25 *mechanchos* through an intensive course tailored to prepare educators for a successful academic year. - *Youth Mental Health First Aid*: Certified 45 educators in Spring 5783-2023, enabling them to recognize and respond effectively to students? mental health needs. **Capacity Building:** - *Annual Women?s Chabad School Leadership Retreat*: Hosted 67 principals at the Annual Women?s Chabad School Leadership Retreat in Winter 5783- 2023, fostering growth and leadership collaboration. **Community and Collaboration:** - *Kinus Mechanchos Chabad*: Hosted the 8th Annual *Kinus Mechanchos Chabad*, drawing 600 *mechanchos* from 142 schools across 128 cities and five continents, facilitating global Chabad educational networking. - *Hakhel Gatherings*: Organized 12 Hakhel gatherings and *farbrengens* for educators throughout 5783-2023, fostering unity and inspiration within the Chabad educational community. - *School Marketing Course*: Conducted a 10-week marketing course for 15 Chabad Day School leaders, focusing on building school visibility and outreach. **Curricular Resources:** - *Project Tomim* Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Curriculum: Trained 15 *mechanchim* on the *Project Tomim* SEL curriculum in Los Angeles during Winter 5783- 2023. The curriculum was piloted with 480 students, promoting emotional resilience and interpersonal skills. - *Zekelman Standards for Chumash*: Delivered extensive training in Zekelman Standards to three new schools, with 850 active users accessing resources on ZekelmanStandards.org, supporting enhanced learning outcomes in *Chumash* studies. **Our Heritage:** - *Our Heritage Program*: Supported the enrollment of 105 new students from public schools into 14 Chabad day schools for the 5783-84, 2023-24 school year, enhancing Jewish educational accessibility. - *Grant Funding*: Distributed $217,000 in grants to support Chabad day school initiatives, strengthening educational resources and enrollment. **Upleveling Educators:** - *Chinuch Consulting Department*: Provided professional development, coaching, and curriculum support to 24 schools worldwide. - *Leadership Coaching*: Strengthened the leadership capacity of 20 principals through individualized coaching sessions. **Inspiration for Chabad Chinuch Values:** - *The Chinuch Vitamin*: Launched a weekly inspirational resource for educators, providing valuable insights and strategies. - *Chinuch with the Times*: Published in the Summer of 5783-2023, this book provides educators with timely resources for strengthening Chabad values in education. **Total Impact:** MEF has positively impacted the Chinuch of 27,016 children across 417 schools in 198 cities worldwide.
