Prison Rehabilitation Program
Rehabilitation program in 18 SC prisons with 639 participants successfully graduating in 2022. The program includes a 40-week intensive discipleship process, peer-to-peer assessments to ensure accountability and drive growth. Curriculum focuses on transforming lives through worship, fellowship, mentoring, serving others, living with purpose, and reentry education. Core values include accountability, responsibility, and submission to authority. Over 5,500 participants have been through the inside prison program since inception, with over 3,700 graduates on the outside. Provision of low cost, safe, and stable housing with access to physical, mental, and dental healthcare to 68 clients during 2022, and more than 560 since inception. Provided job training and assistance with employment for JumpStart prison graduates participating in the transitional housing program. JumpStart has developed numerous strategic partnerships with employers that provide residents with opportunities to be hired directly or work first through the accelerator program, which functions as an employee leasing program. Participants gain valuable work training and experience.
