Mission Statement
THE MISSION OF THE STATE COLLABORATIVE ON REFORMING EDUCATION (SCORE) IS TO CATALYZE TRANSFORMATIVE CHANGE IN TENNESSEE EDUCATION SO THAT ALL STUDENTS CAN ACHIEVE SUCCESS. SCORE IS AN INDEPENDENT, NONPROFIT, AND NONPARTISAN INSTITUTION, FOUNDED IN 2009 BY SENATOR BILL FRIST, MD, FORMER US SENATE MAJORITY LEADER. WE WORK ACROSS THE EDUCATION CONTINUUM FROM KINDERGARTEN TO CAREER THROUGH POLICY, PRACTICE, AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS.
