Food Distribution for Needy Families
Helping Hands distributed food free of charge or at cost to over 900 needy families. We serve up to 120 families each week. During the holidays we serve over 700 families. We provide food for less than 50 on average of the retail costs to our clients. Helping Hands provides uncolateralized interest free loans to Miami-Dade county residents with 2 approved co-signers. Loans are approved between $3,000 and $50,000 at the discretion of the loan committee. Approval is dependent on the financial stability of the borrowers and the co-signers.
