Backpack Outreach for Women in Need
January - December, 2023: Handed out over 700 backpacks to women being sold inred-light district in Bakersfield, CA. The backpacks contain items that a woman would need over the course of a weekend while being sold in our city. While interacting with these individuals, we offer them hope, prayer, phone numbers with resources available to them, and let them know that we have an upcoming women's center that we are opening in early 2025 and can offer them several different services at no charge that could benefit their lives.
