    Construction of our 44,000 sf facility, the SECU Veterans Residence, was completed in August, 2020, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held. Initial staff was hired, and we opened for business in Butner in September 2020, with a staff of 17 on hand to welcome the first residents. Although slowed by COVID regulations, our residential population grew throughout the remainder of the year as we began providing services of many kinds to veterans.

  • Coordinated Care Program for Veterans

    COORDINATED CARE PROGRAM - IN 2022 THE VETERANS LIFE CENTER SERVED OVER 120 VETERANS. SERVED OVER 30,000 WARM MEALS TO 21ST CENTURY VETERANS. WORKED WITH THEM TO INCREASE LIFE SKILLS, FINANCIAL LITERACY AND GOAL SETTING. WE TRANSPORTED VETERANS OVER 45,000 MILES. ASSISTED THEM IN SCHEDULING AND ATTENDING MENTAL, BEHAVIORAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH CARE APPOINTMENTS. SUPPORTED VETERANS WITH TECHNOLOGICAL CAPABILITIES TO SUPPORT OVER 300 TELEHEALTH CALLS.
