Mission Statement
THE CENTER SUPPORTS AND ADVOCATES ON BEHALF OF CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTERS (CAC) AND MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAMS (MDT) STATEWIDE. CAC'S ARE FACILITY BASED PROGRAMS, WHICH UTILIZE AN MDT APPROACH (INCLUDING CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES, LAW ENFORCEMENT, MEDICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AND PROSECUTION) TO INVESTIGATE AND INTERVENE IN CHILD ABUSE CASES.
