Mission Statement
TRUST ESTABLISHED UNDER THE TERMS OF THE WILL OF WAVERLY C. WORKMAN. ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS IN THE WILL, THE TRUSTEE WILL LEASE AND MANAGE THE FARM LAND REAL ESTATE. THE TRUSTEE SHALL DISTRIBUTE THE NET INCOME ANNUALLY FROM SAID FARM LAND AFTER NECESSARY EXPENSES AND INCLUDING A REASONABLE RESERVE FUND FOR THE NEXT CROP YEAR, 1/3 EACH TO THE FOLLOWING NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS:1) ILLINOIS CHURCHES IN ACTION, 2)ILLINOIS GREAT RIVERS ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. CONFERENCE BOARD OF GLOBAL MINISTRIES AND 3)CONFERENCE BOARD OF ORDAINED MINISTRY, WHICH SHALL DISTRIBTE SAID FUNDS AS SCHOLARSHIPS OR GRANTS FOR ILLIOIS MINISTERIAL STUDENTS TO ATTEND METHODIST/WESLEYAN SEMINARIES.
