Refugee Resettlement Services
Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio welcomes refugees escaping persecution, war and violence in their homelands and empowers them to build new lives and become self-sufficient in a welcoming community. Since 1980, Catholic Charities has resettled thousands of refugees from all over the world in Greater Cincinnati. Through its Refugee Resettlement Services in 2023, Catholic Charities resettled and supported 249 newly arrived refugees, Afghans and Ukrainian evacuees. Catholic Charities feeds the hungry through emergency food assistance in Hamilton, Clermont, Brown, Adams, Clinton and Highland Counties. St. Matthew includes the "stranger" in the final judgment on love (Mt 25:31-46). Founded in 1997, Su Casa Hispanic Center extends a loving welcome and serves as a primary provider of social services to the Hispanic/Latino community in Greater Cincinnati.
