Grantmaking Community Impact: WFSA partners with nonprofit organizations and individuals to develop community-centered grantmaking programs that address gaps in Arizonas philanthropic landscape. By providing $1,236,507 in one-year commitments of unrestricted grant dollars and investing in leaders who are trusted members of the communities they serve, WFSA is creating pathways for long-term organizational health and sustainable leadership for nonprofits throughout Arizona. Unidas/Young Womens Initiative: WFSA partners with Re:Frame Youth Arts Center to deliver the Unidas Young Womens Initiative; a leadership program focused on young women and gender-expensive youth in Central Arizona. The program provides training, peer support, and creative space for young people looking to strengthen and engage their self- and community advocacy. Gender Equity Network: Coalition meetings in Tucson and Phoenix brought together advocates and leaders to address critical issues affecting women and girls in Arizona.
