Building our Future
Building Our Future (BOF) is CRC’s signature and most comprehensive program, essential for advancing education, growth, and the opportunity for economic mobility across immigrant communities around Westchester. BOF provides full wrap around services that support individuals and families as they work to build stability in the face of mounting economic, social, and political pressures. In 2025, our immigrant communities are faced with navigating the continuously changing federal policies that keep limiting access to safety net programs, intensified immigration enforcement, and further marginalize the undocumented population. At the same time, rising costs of living, housing instability, and workforce volatility make it increasingly difficult for low-wage workers to achieve upward mobility. In this environment, BOF remains a critical source of stability and opportunity to meet immediate needs while creating long-term pathways to economic security. Through a holistic model that integrates adult education, workforce development, coordinated health and social services, legal assistance, and advocacy, BOF addresses the root causes of inequality and strengthens the capacity of our clients to take control of their future. CRC will scale and deepen BOF’s impact to meet growing demand for culturally responsive, multilingual services. Your support will allow us to: • Expand comprehensive case management services, linking clients to essential services such as housing stabilization, legal services for immigration issues, health care navigation, and mental health support. • Strengthen adult education and workforce development initiatives, including new training tracks in culinary arts, hospitality management, and digital skills aligned with evolving labor market needs. • Support frontline staff and instructors who deliver high-quality programming with trust, cultural fluency, and care. • Broaden outreach and advocacy efforts to ensure our clients not only access services but also build collective power to shape policies that affect their lives.GeographiesUnited StatesDatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedCommunity improvement,Economic development,Adult education,Early childhood education,Equal opportunity in education,Vocational education,Children's rights,Disabled persons' rights,Ethnic and racial minority rights,Immigrants' rights,Rights of the aged,Women's rightsAge groups,Ethnic and racial groups,Family relationships,At-risk youth,Economically disadvantaged people,Immigrants and migrants,Victims and oppressed people,Domestic workers––
