Empowerment Programs for Immigrant Communities
TODEC's programs are aimed to empower disenfranchised immigrant communities to become economically, socially, educationally, culturally, and civically self-sufficient while enhancing individual self-esteem and community health. The overall purpose of TODEC is to ensure equitable access to community education, organizing, leadership development, civic engagement, and immigration legal services for limited and non-English speaking people including immigrants and migrant workers throughout Riverside, San Bernardino, and Imperial counties. TODEC's efforts reached more than 85,000 individuals.The Organization partnered with Riverside County and the State of California to coordinate outreach, housing services, wellness checks and ancilliary supportive services under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act for the Riverside County Harvest Housing Program.
