Community Events and Sports Programs
The Recreation Council sponsors and promotes various special events for the community in Balboa Park, including December Nights, New Year's Eve, Kid's Day, Halloween Fright Night, and Easter Egg Hunt. It also promotes and sponsors various sports programs including basketball, table tennis, badminton, velodrome, little league baseball, senior services, and various youth services and programs.
