ON DECEMBER 31, 2015, THE FOUNDATION TRANSFERRED ALL OF ITS ASSETS AND LIABILITIES TO SHORE MEDICAL CENTER; A RELATED INTERNAL REVENUE CODE SECTION 501(C)(3) TAX-EXEMPT ORGANIZATION. PRIOR TO CEASING ACTIVITIES AND OPERATIONS THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED PHILANTHROPIC SUPPORT FOR SHORE MEDICAL CENTER IN ORDER TO PRESERVE AND ENHANCE THE HEALTHCARE NEEDS OF ITS ENTIRE COMMUNITY.
