Grants are generally allocated in the range of $500 - $10,000. Grant requests for more than $10,000 must be pre-approved by The Timken Fund Board of Trustees. The Timken Fund invests in organizations that can deliver measurable results and sustainable improvements in the communities where Timken and its wholly-owned subsidiaries operate. Preference is given to organizations providing the biggest community impact aligned with our three focus areas. - Basic Needs: a limited number of requests are considered in this area, as our primary channel for Basic Needs funding is through United Way contributions. - Education - Community Development
