UWSJC also awarded over $1.9M to vetted St. Joseph County nonprofits who responded directly to COVID-related needs. United Way, along with community partners, is planning a new neighborhood center - the first of its kind in our country - that will serve as a replicable model in the fields of education, youth, and community development while bringing new resources to the fight against poverty. Anchored by a high quality early learning center, the new facility will also include essential on-site resources for families with children adjacent to 24 new single-family units of affordable housing.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2020 – Jun 30, 2021Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$3.2MProgram 2 [2021]
