Emergency Services: HSHS Holy Family Hospital's Emergency Department consists of well-trained hospitalists and nursing staff. The staff have all completed courses in various areas of emergency training to ensure that they provide the best possible care to patients of all ages. Our hospitalists and nursing staff manage high acuity cases with limited resources. They are used to caring for patients with respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, heart attacks, psychiatric problems, fractures, strokes, and many other conditions. We have Telestroke available in the department, so a neurologist is able to evaluate and treat stroke patients as soon as they arrive in the department. We have cardiopulmonary, radiology, and lab available 24/7, as well as surgical services Monday through Friday. Our team works closely with the local Emergency Medical Service providers to transport patients to other facilities when needed. Internal Medicine: HSHS Holy Family Hospital has many providers that see patients on a daily basis in our outpatient/specialty services clinic. These specialties include Cardiology, Oncology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Podiatry, ENT, Gastrointestinal, Urology, Pulmonology, and Nephrology. The services that we provide in our outpatient/specialty clinic alleviates the need for patients to travel long distances to see specialists. FY2023, we were able to provide services to 7,059 patients.
