Mission Statement
SUPERIOR STRING ALLIANCE SUPPORTS THE ART OF LEARNING AND PERFORMING MUSIC ON THE VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO, AND BASS THROUGHOUT MICHIGANS UPPER PENINSULA. SSA PROVIDES MUSIC EDUCATION FOR STRING STUDENTS GRADES 4-12 THROUGH THE SSA SUMMER MUSIC CAMP. SSA ALSO PROVIDES PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PROFESSIONAL STRING MUSICIANS WHO ARE CAMP FACULTY MEMBERS THROUGH THE SSA CHAMBER PLAYERS.
