Rainbow Hospice Care offers comprehensive end-of-life care to patients and families. This expert care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including registered nurses certified nursing assistants medical social workers chaplains grief counselors physicians nurse practitioners registered dieticians pharmacists and volunteers. Our staff and volunteers focus on each patient's individual needs with an emphasis on providing comfort and dignity during this last part of their life's journey. Families are supported with their care giving role and grief support is provided for a minimum of thirteen months following the patient's passing. We provided 63,338 days of care to 727 hospice patients during 2022. Palliative Care services were provided to 192 patients. Approximately $82,451 of services were provided at a discounted cost or no cost to patients meeting our charitable care guidelines. Members of the local community volunteered 6,918 hours to the organization in 2022.
