Corn Farmers Advocacy
Public PolicyThe goals for MCGA public policy for FY23 were to educate lawmakers about legislative issues impacting corn farmers and influence positive actions for corn farmers through legislation and regulation. Staff and monetary resources of MCGA public policy were used to work with other commodities to ensure livestock and row crop production remain viable in the state. To advance policy goals, a contractor is retained to work in the state Capitol, monitoring, reporting and influencing legislative issues that would impact corn farmers.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesOct 1, 2022 – Sep 30, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided––Membership Engagement Initiative
