Community Venue for Arts Events
Venue - The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts provides the community a venue to host events. Our beautiful historic facility nestled in the heart of Livingston offers seven public venue rental spaces and a place for thousands to connect with each other, celebrate monumental moments, learn new skills, grow and share. Production - The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts provides Southwest Montana exceptional community theatre sustained by more than 170 talented volunteer participants. We typically produce 2 community theatre productions, a high school student production, and a holiday vaudeville in the beautiful 165-seat Dulcie Theatre each season with a total of 63 performances supported by approximately 5,100 audience members. Additionally, the Shane Center produces a summer outdoor concert series, with approximately 2,500 attendees across 7 performances. Education - The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts Educational Programming regularly serves more than 350 student participants with over 4,500 audience members each year. We host an intensive two-week summer theatre workshop for kids ages 6-17, as well as a two-week after school theatre workshop for students, ages 6-13 that culminate in a full musical production.
