We continued to take a strong leadership position in collaborating with over 30 local activists on a monthly basis and working with race forward, to shape city of Sacramento practices to improve community health through completing racial equity impact assessments as part of the city budget and policymaking decisions. Our efforts resulted in the city's establishment of a racial equity committee. This work has influenced Sacramentos mayor to speak publicly on, and follow the precedent of other cities around the nation that are working on reparations to address the injustices that continue to harm American descendants of enslaved Africans.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided––
