BYC Is a theater-making program to provide artistic opportunities to young artists ages 10-18 to create write design and perform original theatrical works. Field trips exploring arts and culture of NYC is an essential part of this program. Our young artists attend Broadway shows dance performances museums parks and other cultural events. BYC has an after-school program and a 6-week Summer Arts intensive where young artists create an original play and perform free of charge for the community. Young artists are compensated for their artistic contributions with a $500 stipend.
