The Jackson Local Schools Foundation is an independent organization of local volunteers that works to promote educational achievement, encourage instructional innovation and create excitement about learning. Our objective is to further the excellence on Jackson Local Schools. In 2023, we awarded 8 grants totaling $20,889 to Jackson Local Schools and 5 individual $1,500 Scholarships to 2023 Jackson High School graduates. Some of the grants provided in 2023 include adding diagnostic aids to modernize the automotive department's technology, an imagination station, STEM bins, a container garden, marine biology rental equipment program, tables and chairs for the collaborative learning center and gel electophoresis euqipment for the biology lab.
