Voter ID Outreach and Education
VoteRiders deploys text banking programs, letter-writing campaigns, phone banking, and targeted digital outreach campaigns. Our volunteer-powered voter contact programs will supplement our on-the-ground voter ID education efforts in our eight priority states. Our thousands of volunteers engage in campaigns to reach voters who are most likely to need our resources and ID assistance services. Voter outreach campaigns are conducted in partnership with leading national democracy organizations as well as state and local partners. Our team collaborates with our partner organizations to educate voters on the new ID law and help voters overcome the new ID-related barriers to the ballot box, offering services onsite in locations that are visited by those most likely to lack ID.GeographiesUnited States;Arizona, USA;Georgia, USA;Florida, USA;North Carolina, USA;Ohio, USA;Texas, USA;Wisconsin, USA;Pennsylvania, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedVoter rights,Civic participation,ElectionsAdults,American Indians,Multiracial people,People of African descent,Hispanic/Latinx/of Latinx or Spanish-speaking descent,Transgender people,Women,Economically disadvantaged people6–Voter ID Assistance,
VoteRiders assists voters in securing an ID to vote in their state (along with the ability to access employment, housing, healthcare, and more), including start-to-finish support for voters to identify and obtain both their ID and any necessary underlying documents and covering all associated costs, including transportation to and from ID-issuing offices. This work is done virtually via our Helpline and Chatbot, as well as through our on-the-ground Voter ID Clinics program where the team identifies locations and regularly set up shop to assist voters in partnership with volunteers and partners.GeographiesUnited States;Arizona, USA;Florida, USA;Georgia, USA;Ohio, USA;North Carolina, USA;Pennsylvania, USA;Texas, USA;Wisconsin, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedVoter rights,Civic participation,ElectionsAdults,American Indians,Multiracial people,People of African descent,Hispanic/Latinx/of Latinx or Spanish-speaking descent,Transgender people,Women,Economically disadvantaged people10K–
