Leap to Success provides empowerment and leadership programs for women who are recovering from domestic violence, homelessness, addiction, and other challenges. This year, we expanded our capabilities and are now training and licensing other organizations across the country to use our innovative curriculum. Since the pandemic, most of our programming is taking place online via Zoom This has proved to be a more convenient way for the women we serve to attend. Previously, barriers to attend our programs included finding childcare and transportation. Those barriers no longer exist. Women now connect to our classes from their living rooms, kitchen tables, transitional living locations, and even while parked in their cars--- to build confidence, improve their communication skills and be part of an ongoing sisterhood of support. During 2022, we enriched the lives of 1,540 people through our programs and events. We served 306 clients in programs and 1,234 staff and community members through presentations and special events. Our foundational program, Leap to Confidence and our advanced program, Transformation Leadership, were offered at no cost to women who were referred by more than 40 agencies including Center for Community Solutions, Father Joes Villages, Interfaith Community Services, Jewish Family Service, Mental Health Systems, and San Diego Housing Commission. Our programs, accomplishments, and activities included:1. Step by step as a mother, sister, aunt, and friend, I became a better person. 2.
